Day 28: Shipping Fail

I was supposed to ship things out to the person who bought, but I want to wait till the other people confirm their items so I could ship everything on the same day. So because of my failure to go and ship something, i’m afraid someone did not get to borrow American Psycho and All Hope Is Gone. I went to the gym with Daniel B. and Roger to play some racket ball and workout in general. After that we headed to Subway, and then Starbucks. After chilling with our drinks for a bit we headed to Daniel’s house to play some halo! I had no idea his mother was a writer; I think that’s super cool. We all eventually had to go outside of the house because Daniel’s mother was coming close to a deadline and she needed the concentration. Roger’s dad gave me a ride home, which was cool to finally meet him because now I can hang out with Roger. Super7 finally released all of the information for their exclusives on their SDCC website. I am glad there are only two releases that I really plan on purchasing: the Le Merde Hollis Exclusive and the Itokin Park Red Devil Lucha Bear. I am pretty much screwed for this con if the certain someone does not start answering PMs, and would finally purchase the Love Dunny. :[

Day 27: He Is Serious

Calvin came over today just to chill. We put his Minolta Motor Drive on eBay, in which I provided the pictures. Calvin brought over two movies to watch: Taken and The Exorcist. Taken was epic; I can’t really get over how epic it was right now. Liam Neeson was a serious beast in that film; there was a scene that made me repeat “He’s serious.” about twenty times. The Exorcist is not new to me, but it was still good either way. The “shocking” parts are now hilarious, but I still think the movie is devastating in a deep sense. The subject of demonic possession has always interested me (morbid much)? Its said that early monks would burn certain concoctions to see different demons and would then notate their appearance and their name. Now, burning certain “concoctions” could also mean that they were well on their way to being as high as a kite; therefore enabling anything to be pictured in their minds. Not that I doubt there are demons with names, I am just concerned about the legitimacy of which demons. Pazuzu is such a character.

Day 24: Super

I woke up today around 11:30 am and ate a bowl of ramen noodles. I finished up a collage for my new workbook for my daily entry, and then I watched some videos on youtube. I probably watched the weirdest thing today, which was the Nine Inch Nails short-film Broken. It was a mixture of music videos with cuts from the film’s storyline, which is just a killer torturing and killing his victim. The storyline scenes where in a black & white or in a shoddy amateur color video quality. After that Dawson picked me up to meet up with Darrel, Matthew, and Jonathan at Barnes & Nobels to decide where we should eat. After a long argument, we just decided to eat at Islands for their endless fries. We had conversations about alcohol, girls, Megan Fox’s thumbs. The song of the week is “Our House” by Madness. Here are my entries so far in my work book.

Day 20: Mal but Okay

Today was pretty fail when it came to the beach. I suggested that we go to La Jolla Shores despite the extra 20 minute drive, but nooooo, they wanted to go to the Oceanside beach because it was closer. Well, because of that, we went to a beach that was super crowded, with cold water, and wimp waves. My velvet felt slippers got screwed up because of the damn tide, and now they’re drying. After the beach we wanted to play tennis again, so we changed and hit up the court. I didn’t have my tennis shoes again, so I decided to play barefoot. I was much faster but my feet hurt so bad by the time we were finished. After that we just chilled and watched taped Wimbledon games. I finally watched Dead Snow, and it was probably the greatest zombie film I have ever seen.

Day 19: Suprise!

Well, i’m making an early blog post because I am afraid I’ll be too tired from partying to post another one anytime at night (I won’t be wasted, just tired). I’m at my friends’ house right now helping set up the BBQ and the surprise stuff for a surprise party! I’ve also got the club mix done and the last rehearsal was knocked out yesterday. I will be using my friend’s guitar this time which is way better than mine. It was cool to mess around with the distortion and stuff yesterday, so “I Love You” will sound more grunge-ish. I will steal Ian’s tradition for a little bit and prepare Jelly Burgers as well; hopefully I won’t be the only eating them. I found someone who is interested in buying the Love Dunny finally, but the price he/she is offering is about $20 below by asking, but I think I might accept out of desperation.

Set List: “I Love You” “Fun Time” “Happy Birthday” “Damaged” “Devilock” “?????”

Old Design Post Concept:

This design was originally intended for a project which ended up falling apart sometime ago, but I might still try to utilize it somehow. Neck Recordings?

Day 17: Ever seen a baby do this?

Today was cool I guess. Wake up, eat breakfast, and watch Gwar videos with my cousins. We finally watched Hangover. The movie was really enjoyable. I ate a pancake taco today. Rented The Uninvited and Big Stan. The Uninvited was enjoyable until the stupid twist at the end. Big Stan was retarded 20 minutes in, so we didn’t even finish it. Short entry today; tired. Song of the week, “Human Nature” by Michael Jackson
